Soror Maleata Hall Awarded Inaugural Mona Humphries Bailey Award

On the occasion of our chapter’s fifth year anniversary, the Membership Services Committee established the Mona Humphries Bailey Award to recognize the outstanding contributions of a chapter member. Soror Maleata Hall has been with the chapter for four years and more than exemplifies the attributes and legacy of our 17th National President, Soror Bailey.  Soror Hall tirelessly performed other roles for chapter sponsored events and special projects. Her Fund Development Committee exceeded budgeted expectations with innovative initiatives.  Working with the Youth Initiative Committee, Soror Hall established the chapter’s first Embodi program. Additionally, Soror Hall provided vital support to the Technology Committee. Her graphic arts experience generated professional documents that saved resources and funds. Her skills with hospitality and party planning generated beautiful memorabilia for many chapter functions. Her sisterly encouragement provides support to all sorors, who are witness to Soror Hall’s fine example of Delta principles.
